ABOUT ME:
Steve here. Thank for stopping by to check out my blog/podcast/portfolio!

You might be wondering "What the hell is this and why should I devote my time and energy to reading anything this dude posts?" Well, the simple answer is, you don't have to.
I made this site in equal parts for: 1) the promotion of my portfolio of personal projects; 2) the place to vent my frustrations about data and the extrovert-ideals-worshiping society I live in; 3) because my friends and family love my ideas and insights and encouraged me to share them with others online. Like any good introvert, most of the things I post here are for myself, but equally, like any good INTJ, the things I post here should be relevant to anyone who chooses to read them. It's a place where I organize my thoughts and distill them from the complicated world that's in my head into a few good paragraphs or images that I can share with others. Creating a system that is a truthful and useful representation of reality is the one thing that brings me joy above all others
My qualifications:
I have been breathing since 1988;
I have been a U.S. Citizen since 2009;
I have graduated from Harvard in 2010 and Columbia in 2017;
I have been a paralegal for 6 years of my life, a librarian for 5, and a data scientist since 2017;
I have been in love with learning, ideas, facts, and thinking outside the box for as long as I can remember.
